Early Lighting Designs

During the late 70’s, 80’s and early 90’s computer software was not readily available for drafting lighting plots.  Each plot was hand drawn, which sometimes took several hours to complete.  Once you formed a concept in your head of what the design should look like, you then had to transfer the design to paper so that equipment could be prepped. Below are samples of hand drawn lighting plots along with photos from the actual show.
